The brotherhood of the Jomsvikings was one of the most feared mercenary groups of the Viking Age. Fiercely dedicated to Odin and Thor, with a strict code of honor and conduct and yet willing to fight for whomever paid them, even christians!

Fearsome. Loyal. Troublemaking. The Byzantine Varangian Guard was all of these. And they were Vikings!  

Uncontrollable rage and bloodlust, Viking berserkers were fierce warriors said to have fought in a trance-like fury. But did such people ever really exist?
