Bifrost (Bifröst) is the rainbow bridge that connects Asgard, the realm of the Gods; with Midgard, the world of humanity. Bifrost is guarded by the ever-vigilant God Heimdall.

For Vikings, marriage wasn’t just a union of the couple, but of families. Marriage was the center of the family in Viking culture, which in turn created intricate and complex traditions, all of them necessary to earn the blessings of the Gods.

Traditionally, weddings were held on Friday, the sacred day for Frigg, the Goddess of marriage, with the celebrations lasting for a full week.

This ring is 8mm wide with a comfort fit, and is made of Tungsten Carbide, a highly resistant alloy made of equal parts of Tungsten and Carbon.

The tungsten carbide alloy is twice as hard as steel, making it one of the most resistant rings you will ever have. The inlay is made with genuine Abalone Shell, bringing the bright iridescence of Bifröst to the ring. The exterior of the ring is coated in resin to protect the shell inlay.
