God of the Hunt Ullr Black Tungsten Wedding Ring
For Vikings, marriage wasn’t just a union of the couple, but of families. Marriage was the center of the family in Viking culture, which in turn created intricate and complex traditions, all of them necessary to earn the blessings of the gods.
Traditionally, weddings were held on Friday, the scared day for Frigga, the Goddess of marriage, with the celebrations lasting for a full week.
This wedding band displays the Arrow of Ullr is the God of archery, hunting, and the winter. As the apex hunter, he is the perfect provider, blessing the newly wed with a life of plenty.
This ring is made of Tungsten Carbide, a highly resistant alloy made of equal parts of Tungsten and Carbon and it is 8mm wide. The alloy, twice as hard as steel, can only be polished and finished with abrasives of superior hardness such as cubic boron nitride and diamond powder, making it one of the most resistant rings you will ever have. The inlay is made of meteorite and Koa wood, coated in a protective resin.
