Dragonslayer 925 Sterling Silver Adjustable Ring

Popularized in modern times, dragons were always part of the Norse culture and religion. Jörmungandr, Nidhögr, Fafnir and others, these are the original dragons of myth and legend. Dragons are mentioned in various legends, sagas, chronicles, and skaldic poems during the Viking Age.

The Mighty Fáfnir was originally a dwarf who was turned into a fearsome, almost-indestructible dragon who slept on a hoard of gold due to a “cursed” ring. Fáfnir was also known by his intelligence, and was the original inspiration for the dragon Smaug in Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.

Fafnir was finally slain by the hero Sigurd, as told in the Volsung Saga.

The ring is made of pure and certified 925 Sterling Silver, and is 11mm wide (medium size). The golden sword and dragon are made of copper. Each ring is slightly adjustable for two sizes.

• The Small size is adjustable for sizes 7 and 8
• The Medium size is adjustable for sizes 9 and 10
• The Large size is adjustable for sizes 11 and 12
• The Extra Large size  is adjustable for sizes 13 and 14
