Beasts of Odin, Wolf, Bear and Raven 316L Stainless Steel Bracelet
Odin’s Ravens: Hugin (thought) and Munin (memory) fly all over Midgard to bring information to the Allfather. The Ravens are some of the most iconic symbols of the Norse religion, evoking the blessings and the wisdom of the Allfather in our daily lives.
One day Odin felt lonely traveling by himself, so he created the first wolves: Geri and Freki. Odin and his loyal wolves quickly became inseparable, traveling the world together and slowly populating the Earth with wolves, their offspring.
When Odin created the first humans, he told them to learn from Geri and Freki how to cooperate, hunt, care for their families and defend themselves, and thus they became teachers and later protectors of mankind.
The fabled berserker is a mighty warrior capable of entering such a furious furious state of mind that it became its own word: Berserkergang. During their fury they howled like wild beasts, foamed at the mouth, and gnawed the iron rim of their shields. According to belief, during these rages they were immune to steel and fire, making great havoc in the ranks of the enemy.
In battle, berserkers dispensed with shields and armor, covering their bodies with bear pelts, instilling fear in the hearts of their enemies. This bear-warrior tradition and symbolism survives to this day in the form of the bearskin caps worn by the guards of the Danish monarchs.
