Balder's Ring Draupnir 925 Sterling Silver Ring
The ring Draupnir was forged by the dwarfs the realm of Niðavellir at the same time as Thor’s hammer Mjolnir and the spear Gungnir, being one of the most prized possessions of Odin.
After the death of Baldr, Allfather Odin deposited the ring on Baldr’s funeral ship, so his son would take the ring with him to the afterlife. Soon after the funeral, the heroic Hermodr traveled to Helheim to parlay with the Goddess of death herself for the release of Baldr. Although Baldr remains an honored guest in the halls of the dead, Baldr sent back through Hermodr the ring Draupnir to his father Odin, as a token of his appreciation.
According to the legend, every ninth night, eight new golden rings of equal weight would emerge from the magic ring Draupnir, ensuring wealth and prosperity for its owner.
Baldr is associated with light and beauty, and star on the center of the ring symbolizes a beautiful new dawn.
The ring is handcrafted of pure and certified 925 Sterling Silver. The ring weighs 6.7g and is 7.5mm wide. The stones are AAA cubic zircon and the ring is rotatable.
