Valkyrie Wings Cupronickel Necklace Pendant

Valkyries are more than the elegant, noble maidens who bring the dead heroes to Valhalla, they are noble warriors and servants of Odin, going fully armored to battle following the Allfather.

Valkyries never had winged horses in classic Norse tradition (the Pegasus is from the Greek mythology), instead they themselves had wings, which they use to bring the honored dead to the halls of Valhalla.

This pendant is handcrafted by master artisans of cupronickel, an alloy silver in color, consisting of copper, nickel and strengthening elements, such as iron and manganese. Cupronickel is highly resistant to corrosion. This particular pendant has a nickel content of 25%, giving it a silver luster, but making it inadequate for anyone with a nickel allergy.

The pendant dimensions are 66*25mm and weighs 22g. The bail (hole for the chain) inner size is 11*7mm, with a recommended chain width of 6mm in thickness or less.
